MAMMOTH LAKES, Mono County — November 4, 2026. The town’s eight-candidate race for three council seats and two local measures are featured in Mono County’s November 3, 11 p.m. semi-final unofficial release. All results may change as outstanding ballots are processed.
Three Town Council seats
The official county election summary, page 6, lists Lakota Mikulicich with 885 votes (24.15%), Steve Shatkin with 741 (20.22%) and Cory Rice with 582 (15.88%) as the top three of eight candidates. The other names and totals remain part of the full county result table. Because this is a vote-for-three contest, candidate percentages are shares of votes, not a majority test.
Mammoth Unified Measure P
Measure P has 1,242 Yes votes (61.09%) to 791 No (38.91%) in the county summary, page 9. Residents should check the official voter guide for the exact tax provision and legal approval requirement rather than assuming any Yes majority automatically satisfies the threshold.
Southern Mono Healthcare District
For two seats, the county summary shows Joanne Hunt 1,025, Sophie Bidet 748, Yuri Parisky 718, Daniel Ranson 388 and Matthew Hall 351. The 30-vote gap between Bidet and Parisky is a reason to follow later counts.
The county says 1,387 mail, 140 provisional and 10 challenged ballots were unprocessed after its November 3 release. These figures are countywide outstanding ballots, not a count of ballots in the council race. All totals in this report are unofficial election-night snapshots, not certified results. Precincts reporting does not necessarily mean every eligible mail, provisional, or signature-cure ballot has been counted.
